1.- Define weather and climate.

The weather is what the atmosphere is like in a place at a particular moment. 
The climate, is the typical weather of a region for a long period of time.

2.- What is latitude and altitude? Explain with your words.

Latitude is the distance from the Equator.

Altitud is the distance from the level of the sea. When a place is above sea level., it is colder, that is why it is colder in the mountains than on the coast.

3.- Write the principal characteristics of the four seasons. 

EX. Winter: we have the lowest temperatures of the year. The days are very short. Sometimes there is hail and snow.

Spring:the temperatures become milder. There is less rain later in the season.

Summer: we have the highest temperatures of the year. The days are longer. The air is dry.

Autumn: The temperatures go down. Days are shorter and there is heavier rain.
